There is a thread on the planning board that says the results of the "extension offer" recently made for OKW would be different if it was one of these resorts.

I only have a few options on the poll so, pick one that works for you.... or post your own response!:rotfl2:

Assume its the same offer and price point!

For me I own at BCV and my response is the same as it was for my OKW points. No.

We own at VWL and BWV and I wouldn't extend at either.

We don't plan on selling and the contract expiration and our own should be pretty close together. :rolleyes1

I voted no. We'll be in our 90's in 2042 - if we're around at all. I'd rather use the money now for more points.

Yep. us too, in our 90's. I'd also use the money for more points that I can use NOW.

I messed up. I own BWV and would NOT extend, but I responded on my iphone and hit that I would instead.

Just an FYI on the "poll". Since you broke out each of the "Would extend" into separate options, but kept the "Would NOT extend" as one option - it really makes the results look very very skewed towards not extending... People need to add the first 4 options of the poll to get a good feel for "Would" vs. "Would NOt"

I own at BCV and I would extend. I'll only be 59 in 2042.

It depends on price. If they offered it at the original $15 / point then yes. At the $25 / point (or whatever it is now) then it would be no. We only have 150 points at VWL but have 300 at AKV so it would be nice that they both expired at the same time but the value of those later years vs expiring and buying a new contract at whatever the new sandwich property is then maybe better. Let the Ruben Towers be built.

Hi: Answer would be a maybe- our BWV contracts are all set to be handed down to the kids and grandkids- it would depend on whether they wanted to extend this or not.

Wow, what I wouldn't give to be 25 again!

I wouldn't extend. If I was going to spend the money it would take to extend, I'd instead spend it on additional points that I could actually get use from immediately and for the next few decades.

I don't own at any but would do an add-on at BWV if there was an extension.

If there isn't, I will just take my chances at 7 months when the mood suits me and I feel like staying there.

Definitely maybe. I'll be old and moldy in 2042 so the kids will have to decide if they want to continue paying the dues.

Let me qualify my vote by saying that the price would need to be LESS than $15. Otherwise I'm not interested.
