We are fitting in a trip in July because we (I) couldn't pass up a great rate. We have stayed at Sports and Movies before. We are not interested in being right by the front desk but would like a room that is really close to parking and the laundry rooms. From what I can tell from the map it looks like Broadway would be the building I would request. Can anyone give me their thoughts?

Thanks!

I think parking is behind all the buildings. I don't know where laundry room is....I like Jazz building.

If I remember correctly, the laundry was right next to Calypso, which is a preferred building. I was in the back of the next section Jazz and I'd recommend that. From the back, I could see that there was a parking lot right behind the building. Broadway was far out and I don't know if there's another laundry out there or not. If not, it would be quite a hike to the Calypso one.

We just got back yesterday and stayed in the Jazz II bldg. I did not want to pay extra for the Calypso bldg. We were in room 2526. It was on the second floor, facing the parking lot.

It was a great room. No noisy neighbors, nor noisy pool to bother us. I have 6 yr old twins that like quiet when they sleep. Although, I wondered if we had stayed on the third floor if we would not have heard the toilets/running water so much. For the most part, we passed out from a long day and this was not too much of an issue.

The ice machine is on the second floor and a soda machine is on the first floor. The elevator was right around the corner from the room.

I believe the Jazz II bldg is suppose to be nonsmoking. Our room was fine, however there were a lot of chairs outside room where peiple were smoking.

The laundry is right between the big pool (forget name) and Melody Hall (where the food court/checkin is located). It cost $2.00 per wash and $2.00 per dryer (30 minutes).

Hope this helps.
