I work in year 1 class. Today they were drawing a picture of their favourite toy and writing a label beside it. One little boy drew his and then asked me, "How do you spell DS?"

:rotfl: :rotfl: Love it!

When I used to work in Year 1 I was always amused by the number of bits of paper I would be given by the children which said " I lik you Hildasmuriel" - not sure I actually wanted that much licking.

In my year 4 class today we were writing descriptive sentences about the images we had seen of a Native American village. One girl wrote, "The tipi was covered in Disney." I asked what she meant and she said, "Well it might have been, you said he was American!" I think I may need to do a little less Disney talk in my classroom (hard as my room is Disney themed!!)
