I got my confirmation letter in the mail yesterday for my vacation in august. It just is a generic letter with the confirmation # that says Beach Club. Should it say waterview,balcony,concierge or any other details?Iwent through a travel agent and that's what we specified.It's been 6 years since I last have been to WDW and it seems like I got something different then. it had a page saying when final payment was due and stuff like that.Will that come later?
How far in advance should i request a specific room?Thanks, Colleen

Mine have never said a prticular view and I imagine it is because the view is never guaranteed. You get what is available upon check in. I try and call Disney every month or so prior to arrival to reiterate my wishes and then you can fax the BC room assigner prior to arrival. I think they start assigning rooms up to 5 days in advance. There is a thread somewhere with the exact specifics.
