 Anybody every heard of the Krispy Kreme Challenge. It's in Raleigh NC. You run two miles, eat a dozen donuts, and then run back. It sounds like something I would be crazy enough to try.:woohoo:

Haven't heard of that one. Kinda like I my motto: "Live to run, run to eat!"

I was chatting with someone at a race event once. I can't remember where. They did a two person beer run. You started a 5 mile run with a case of beer. You had to finish the race together, carrying all your empty bottles. Sounds like fun, but I can't remember where they said the race was.

I think someone posted up some info about it last year. It did look like folks had fun. It sounds crazy.

Apparently there are many who do this. Who wouldda thought. If you decide to make it a go let us know how you did. We've got a WISH Team calendar you can list your event there.

I was going to say this sounds like my kind of race since I love Krispy Kremes. But when I thought about it a little more... I'm not sure how well I'd do on the 2nd half with a full stomach. :rotfl:

Well, I haven't been running, but I'm 39 weeks pregnant, so I've done nothing but wallow in self-pity and eat my weight in donuts, ice cream, and french fries for the last week. I had no idea I'd been in training for the challenge!

Yep, I've done this one for a couple of years now. Fortunately for me, since I'm not big on Krispy Kremes, they have an entry category that doesn't require you to eat the dozen doughnuts. I usually take mine home to the kids and DH -- so it's one race they LOVE for me to do. :rotfl: I actually ran into Jeanne and her DH there last year. Loads of fun!

Here's my race report from last year (with photos):

Man I wish This race was near me. I'd love it. Brothers are trying to get me to eat Two dozen in an hour and keep them down. The bets up to fifty bucks holding out for more incentive.:lmao:
