Well, we just registered our daughter for kindergarten. That's the last of the kids to go off to a full day of school. Now I can do some serious rewarding!! Ok, probably not. With the rewards programs getting tougher to do and taking longer to earn, I'll just work a little OT instead.

Dave-
LOL, you are too funny! I just registered my DS & barely got thru it all without crying. Big lump in my throat & everything. DH just thinks I am loony! I realize when you have more than 1 child , it is different, but for me I wish he could just stay little for a while longer since he is our one and only.

Plus our Kindergartens here in Monroe County are all 1/2 day programs--so he'll only be gone mornings. Just can't bear the thought of it!

Don't work too much OT--just think of the taxes-lol!

Registration is easy. Wait until my One and Only DD goes to her first day of school! I'll be bawling my eyes out.....then I'll take a nap.:D

I work in the health room at my son's (2nd grader) elementary school. What is so funny is we have more problems with upset parents on the first day of school then we do with the kids. I've never seen so many big crocodile tears in my life....and that's from the parents! <VBG> :D Just remember, they can read your body langugage and feed off the way you present this new and wonderful time of their lives. Just try to enjoy the time you have left with them before the BIG DAY!

What ariot that is. It is so nice to see what she is doing in school and more important who are her friends. I love doing it!!!

Wait till your last "chick" graduates a four year college..then you will feel like an empty nester for sure....:) I still miss the days when they were young, life was simpler then...but no matter how old they are, they are your kids for life.....{{{HUGS}}} for everyone here....

You read my mind, I just finished paying the deposit for our youngest child's freshman year. I can't believe this time has approached so rapidly. Our eldest is a senior in college next fall. I can remember packing her off to her first day of kindergarten, and, then, later in the morning hiding behind the shcool fence watching her play with the other children! Fond memories of times past but I know the future holds many more!
