Altered Binder Clips - Shipping Info # 97

The Swap Goddess has requested I do a new thread to officially start the altered binder clip sign up sheet, and I respectively will oblige. (after all if I don't she knows where I live, she'll drop her critters off at my house for lengths of time unknown).

The altered binder clip sign up is now active, will be until 9/15. After sign up, I will contact everyone with my address. The deadline to get the binder clips to me will be November 8th. That means I must have them without fail by that date. Include a postage tag (amount to be stated later when I figure out how much it will cost to mail eight binder clips). Failure to do so will result in above critters to be delivered to your house. :laughing:

So here I am all proud of myself for being almost done AK and UO/SW swap and ready to work on the events swap and nevermind that darn book from my last trip that I've been trying to do sicne December and I wanted to be done before my next trip in less than two months....I finally get a night that I don't go to football practice and I sit and peruse the swap boards. What do I find? The cutest darn thing that I have no clue what I am going to do with!

Sign me up! One Disney group and one Christmas please - is there a general for either of them (I have no clue what paper I have). If not, santa for christmas and tinkerbell or pixie dust or something like that for disney!

Ok - placecards are out for me - I have 40 people and paper plates for Christmas Eve. I don't care where anyone sits as long as food does not end up on the couch or in the kid's bed (this seems reasonable except we found a half eaten bag of marshmallows in the loft bed after the last party). So no need for placecards!

I love the idea of using for gifts but I think I'd need to add one of those cute altered coasters - I could make me some generic ones after the swap comes back to add - where do you get those darn things?

What size are these again? I'm apparently blonde today (but it's just a few cover-the-gray highlights).

For Thanksgiving (Group B) you will make 8- they can be 8 of the same or 2 sets of 4- you will get 8 back

For Christmas(group B)- you make 6(all same)- you will get 6 back

For Disney(group A)- you make 8 (all same) and get 8 back

I told her and DS that it is okay to take them to the big schools and just ask for them to be put into the teacher's mailboxes w/ a card...that way they won't have to be embarrassed...

Either way I will need to go to the post office. What is critical to me is that we get these out so everyone has their binder clips for Thanksgiving. That is why I opted to use the priority boxes and shipping.

I really didn't want to be a do this, do that type of host, but I do ask that you wrap each clip, with either a paper towel, napkin, tissue, and label with your name, the group, and the category. We don't want other clips knocking into embellishments and bending the paper.

Reminder the deadline to get your clips to me is November 8th. I know life gets in the way sometimes, but if you think your schedule is going to be crazy, then feel free to mail your completed clips earlier. pst, Nancy, if you clips are done, get thy boota to the post office, Missy!;) :laughing:

Sorry - my bad. It isn't really a mini ATG gun. It's just a glue runner. You know, those plastic things that come in red or blue or purple, that fit in the palm of your hand. Although some are clear too, now that I think about it. Anyway they can be one time disposable or you can buy the ones that take refills. PN96 was describing her method of glueing for me and said it was like "a mini ATG that fits in the palm of your hand" and I took her to mean it REALLY looked like a mini ATG gun.
I've not had good luck with the Paper Studio brand ones. They don't like me. I still need to get the one PN96 uses.

Thanks! The hat is stickled -red on the red part and white on the white part. And you can't see it in the pic but the beard and hair are flocked - I kind of swirled this glaze stuff around then flocked so it looks like hairs!

I needed a quick baby gift for the daughter of a parishener so I made a couple of these in baby boy colors tieing on some of the little plastic things that are sold to put on tables during a shower (rocking hores, pacifers, bottles). I brought it to study this morning because I was trying to decide if I needed something more or if I liked it as is. One of the women is opening a farm store to go with their dairy farm and processing plant and wants me to try and make some in cow colors and things to sell in the store. I am going to see what I can find around the house- but i would love any idea input.

They are Karen Foster mini farm charms- if you google them 1 website has thenm for 2.39 for a package- I think I bought them at AC moore pretty cheap or somplace else when they were on clearance or sale. They have 5 farm charms in the package and all are about 1 inch across or down. in addition to the 3 on there I have a picthfork and a weather vane. Oriental trading has a cute painted enamel set of charms that are $5.99 for 36- including a cow, chick, pig, tractor, barn and one other (6 of each).

The clip itself looks a little plain- why don't you cut out a plain mickey head in black and stick it on- you don't have to but it might just fiish it off.

Ok so after I watched my new SITC DVD I was inspired and changed the paper on the tag to the reminisce line and it's the "magic stripe" one and it's pearlized. I added a swirly mickey head to the back from my punch I have and added some blk and wht polka dot ribbon.

Oh I almost forgot ok so I was doing make and takes for national card making day and I was in the back of the SCPBK Store and I look up and I see a die cut for a mickey Balloon and they are AWESOME!!!
If anyone wants some I'm gonna go make a bunch so just lemme know what colors you would like.

He went to the judge's tent to get photos & autographs. Little Bit didn't want to, so Eldest took both clipboards for autographs. Princess Aurora thought it was so sweet that Eldest was getting the extra autographs, she gave him a kiss. I'm about 15 miles from central Phoenix,but when I'm right next store to awatukee which city wise they concider Phoenix.
114 that ain't nuthin.... LOL but yeah it's 95 today (cooling trend).
I love my name too, I'll never find anything personalized that's for sure.
Did the individual wrapping help??? I have left over packaging from my shows I might as well use them.

I took a break from my angelling to work on these. I have 1 and a half Thanksgiving groups done as well as I also have my group of Christmas done. One Disney group is covered but I haven't created the item for on it.
