HH Availability - September - May?

DH and I are looking down the road a few years and were wondering how difficult it is to get get into HH, most likely a studio, during the non-summer months. We live in Ohio and could make the drive in a long day (especially once DS is off to school). We have points at OKW, VB, and BCV but might be able to stretch the budget for another small addon...any thoughts?

Those are great months to go to HH. If you call right at the 7 month window you should not have a problem. It would definately be easier to get a 2-bedroom since there are not many studios and 1-bedrooms at the resort. Also being flexable with you days will also give you a better chance.

Drive from Mentor should take 12 to 13 hours depending on stops and speed.

I am booked for a studio for HH for May 19 - 25. I called back in Oct at the 7 month window and had no problems. Seeing they only have about 25 studios I figure I did well.

We were waitlisted for a studio for June and received a call within 2 weeks saying one was available. We did just purchase 200 pts. thru resale for HH though. We loved it there so much we want to be able to take our whole family there every other summer.

I just noticed that I don't have where I'm from listed. I'm from Mentor, Ohio too. It did take 12 hours to get there.
