Help with buying points

:confused: I am very leary about trusting someone with my vacation plans, but I can't seem to get a 2 br BWV for Nov at a reasonable rate. (No DC discounts left). How much would it cost to rent points and can you buy housekeeping everyday? What is the cancelation policy and how do you insure that you don't get taken for a ride? Thanks for any info.

You can check out the DVC Rent/Trade <a href="http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=33">FAQ</a> for answers to some of your questions.

You can post the dates, resort and room type you're interested in on that board and see if a member can help. You can also respond to a member's offer of a rental.

the standard seems to be $10 a point for rentals - unfortunately, though, that may be a *very* tough time of year to track down points to rent. Even though it is a relatively slow time of year at WDW, it is an extremely busy time of year for DVC - low points per night, good weather, holiday decorations all make it an extremely popular time to vacation on points. Definitely let us know what happens.
