Hello all I've been a lurker for a long time and I usually find the answers through the wonderful search function. I need your opinions. I just book CSR for 1/25-1/28. It's my mom's birthday and even though we're been to WDW at least 2x every year for the past 10 years or so my mom could never afford to have us stay onsite or a WDW vacatiob. Well all her sacrifices paid off and the tables have turned. She has provided me with the resources that I am now able to afford to take her. It makes me proud and I'm sure she'll love it. It's her birthday in January so this is a surprise trip. We're staying at CSR for 3 nights and then I have to find another hotel for our 2 days at Seaworld/Aquatica. I have a few questions. Traveling will me me DM and DD..DD will be 2.

1. Spectromagic and fantasmic are showing at the same time on the same day. Which one would you all recommend is worth the effort to see.

2. I want to send her to a spa visit which one is recommended by you all as well.

TIA

Since you really have 2 separate questions the best thing for you to do is to post your question about Spectro/Fantasmic on the Theme Parks board and the Spa question would probably be best answered on the Resorts board.

I think Fantasmic is better by far. I like that it is a show vs. parade. It's also nice to have a place to sit and watch without having to flight the masses.

As far as a spa recommendation, I have used Madera Spa at the Dolphin a few times and really enjoy it. You can check out pics of the spa on the swan/dolphin website.

I just love Spectromagic so that is where my vote goes.
I have visited the spa at Saratoga Springs resort several times and can highly recommend it.
Have a great vacation.

We prefer Spectromagic, and our 18 month old was scared to death by Fantasmic because it was so loud. We (the grownups) loved it though! I think you won't be disappointed with either choice. :goodvibes

Fantasmic has seats and with Spectro, you will be sitting on a curb or standing for at least an hour. Does this matter with your mom? We love both and could not pick between the two shows.:confused3

I will always prefer a great show with seats over curbs. We loved Fantasmic!
