Can anyone give me some information on tipping the concierges?

How much? For what reason? Only once at end of stay or throughout your stay? etc.

Thanks.

Tipping the concierge staff in not required (nor do I think it is accepted). When we are there we tip the housekeeping staff five dollars a day, and the bellhop one dollar a bag.

You don't tip the concirege staff. I don't believe they are even allowed to accept tips.

Concierge personnel considre themselves professionals, and therefore do not generallya ccept tips.

I always buy a box of Godiva chocolates and give them to the concierge staff on my last day as a thank you. That way I'm acknowledging them all with a nice indulgence.

Of course housekeepers and bell services are tipped as usual.

Disney states that housekeeping is not on the list of "tipped" services, although we do leave $1/person per day.
