As well, I just returned from Animal Kingdom Lodge on Monday. While I was there, I called to do the Bounceback Free Dining for next year with the 30 % off at Saratoga or Old Key West... I had no problems booking the Bounceback, but that I would have to call later (11 months out) to do the 30% off part.
There were no fliers in any of the 3 rooms at the AKL. I only knew to call because of these boards! Thanks everyone! I called and made my Bounceback plans. I called for my sister (she also had a room at AKL) and the person on the phone did not know about this Bounceback and said that my sister could not do this. I insisted that she could. It took 32 minutes on the phone, but she figured it out- Lesson learned- I wish that I would have taken the information from the Boards with me (the phone number and the code for the Bounceback). If you are headed to Disney and want Bounceback- find the info on the Boards and pack it with you! Since there were no fliers, she had a difficult time identifying what I wanted. I am convinced that AKL did not put out fliers because they are trying to sell vacation villa points (this is just my theory and based on nothing but pure speculation :)

I just returned from WL and had the form in my room which even advertised the 30% off at SSR and still couldn't book - CM told me to call back in October/nov and in the interim I booked the pirate room at CBR - CM said it was dumb that they were advertising it and not allowed to book it - he said they can't get answers as to why disney did this. but I kept the sheet so I can raise a stink if needed as I reallly want a one bedroom as I'll have a toddler next year.

Oh yeah, I want to know that too. With 6 kids, the 2 bdrm is the only option for us.

I am the person in the previous posts who was at the AKL. I asked the CM if the 30% off would be on 1 bedrooms as well as studios and he said yes. I did not ask specifically about 2 bedrooms.

11 months out...to the day of your check-in? We'll be there Oct 2nd-5th & will be going in 2009, Sept 8th-18th...so what's the possibility of us getting a quote for the 30% off SSR?
Also, if I'm understanding this correctly, if I cannot get a quote for SSR in Oct, I just have to book something for the Bounceback & then call back to get the 30% off SSR?

I'm looking in to this too but on a couple of previous threads yesterday and today these are already able to be booked. I'm going to call when I get home today from work.

Just for info for you guys, the uk offer is 44 % discount at OKW and SSR and free dining BUT you also have to purchase length of stay passes. We are able to book this now and it includes studio, 1 and 2 beds (though the 1 beds are very limited)
The last date to check in is 3rd oct.
Just thought I'd post this for your info as there is nothing to prevent you booking through the UK if it is a good deal for you :goodvibes ( pm me if you want a number for a disney specialist TA in the UK)
I have booked 1 bed OKW 3rd - 17 oct (14 nights) with free standard dining and 14 day ultimate tickets for 2 adults and 2 teens (17 and15) for £3100 so at todays exchange $5270.

We just got a 2 bedroom villa at SSR with free dining and 30% off. We originally had Poly Garden view club level. We saved about $2500 if we were to pay rack rate for the room and paid for dining. Plus we can bring 3 more people if we want. We wanted OKW but it wasn't available for our dates.

What are the dates for this offer? I just booked a FD bounceback for the last week in August, 2009. I wonder if I could switch my resort to OKW at 30% off.

Wow i didn't know you could get both free dining and 30% off. I called and booked a bounce back and the cm said they were 2 different promos and I had to pick one. I booked a fd at asmov Sept 27-oct 2 2009. does that mean I can okw at 30%off too?

They didn't have OKW for my dates (last week of August 23-39) for a 2 bedroom villa so we booked SSR.

OKW and SSR were offering 30% and free dining. All other resorts were just free dining.

Hey guys! I know I said I would post tonight about the costs for the rooms I bb but I have run out of time between unpacking from our trip and washing clothes and all the normal coming home stuff. I will get online tomorrow night and get the info out for those interested! :) Night!

I booked SSR free dining. I had originally booked bounceback at my resort then saw a post about the 30% so called and gave it a try.
Basically my ticket cost would be 1757.28 for 4 adults and 2 teens (12&13). So my room with free dining would be $2133.70. So a 2 bedroom at SSR for 5 nights is 426.74 per night - including taxes.
I think rack rate for a 2 bedroom in value season was $530. 30% less plus 12.5% taxes is almost 426(?). Maybe 530 rack rate isn't exactly right? Are my taxes off? Not sure, but those are my numbers.
2 questions:
Should I see if OKW is available???
Should I save approx. $175 and do 2 rooms at a moderate??
Any thoughts?

While I was at WL, I booked the bounceback but couldn't get OKW or SSR yet so I did the pirate room at Caribbean Beach. Well, I switched to OKW b/c I got the 30 % off. So this is the deal for us:
2 adults, one infant (free)
4 nights
one day base ticket
free dining
1 bedroom suite at OKW
$1390.54
I did the normal booking on line and this package would have been $1917.10 without the bounceback deal.
I also asked what the studio price would be for the above and it was $1091.34, only $50 more than what we were paying for the pirate room at CBR. I was also told that SSR would be the same price for the one bedroom and studio for the above parameters.
We're very excited as our DS will be 20 months by then so a separate room will be a must!

Hi guys! I am so sorry I completely forgot to post the info from my BB a week and half ago...things were crazy when I got back from my trip and I am finally catching up!
Here is the info on my BB:
We booked two reservations b/c we are going back with my parents and my brother's family. We booked at SSR and got the FD too for Sept. 12 as check in date.
1 bd studio for me, dh and ds (4)
1day base tix for everyone
Free Dining
8 nights
NO Trip Ins.
TOTAL: $2,088.87
This comes out to around 233.00 per night for the room w/ taxes when you subtract the base tixs.
2 bd villa for parents, brother's family (db,dsil, dnep(5), and dniece(1) )
1 day base tix for everyone (they will upgrade closer to trip)
6 nights (we are staying longer than they are as you can see)
NO Trip Ins.
TOTAL: $2967.57
This comes out to around 430.00 per night for the room w/ taxes when you subtract the base tixs. Since this will be split btwn 2 families, it is not a bad deal at all for 215.00 for family.
2009 Rack rate for SSR studio accd. to mousesavers- $295.00 per night before taxes
2009 Rack rate for SSR 2 bd villa accd. to mousesavers- $545.00 per night before taxes
Best I can figure, it is right at the 30% mark! Hope this helps someone out! :)

We booked the SSR BB too.
Arrive 9/27/09 for 6 nights w/free dining.
Studio for Me, DH, son and DIL (4 adults)
(A studio works because son and DIL live in Orlando - they'll spend the day and eat meals with us, then go home at night. They don't need tickets.)
1 day base tix. DH and I will upgrade to APs later.
No trip insurance
$1741.68 Total
Room cost w/tax before tix - $233.00 a night. Looks like right at 30% discount. WITH free dining. Sweeeet.
We're DVC, but we want to save points next year for a family trip in 2010. So the BB just fits the bill.
