I'm just now thinking about DLP for spring break the first week in March. How many days/nights should I plan on staying? What are the must do's? I have teenagers. No kids. We go to DW every year but am a complete novice about DLP. I need some guidance!

I personally wouldn't want to go for less than 5 days but I think thats more to do with our travel being expensive so going for less amount of days isn't really worth it for us!:) I wish we lived next to that euro bobber thing thats like a train!!:rotfl:

It can be done in less though, if you go at a quiet time, and plan your visit to see what you really want to see/do.

I've never gone for more than 3 days, think 4 would be just about right, and honestly don't know what I would do with 5 whole days there :confused3 (but if anyone wants to pay for the experiment, I'd give it a go ;) )

It depends on the tiem of year, but without kids I would say 3 should be sufficient do everything/nearly everything!!

oh yeah in the likes of January come the 5th/6th day you are wanting your own bed and you are standing about thinking 'what will we go on AGAIN?'!!:rotfl: But I'd be scared to try less, in saying that if I went in the summer, we could only afford 3 or 4 days max so we would make that work out!

och it boils down to me being tight and wanting my monies worth!!:rolleyes1

I think we can do just about everything in 3 days, but 4 is the right number if we want to feel we've enjoyed yourselves rather than rushing from ride to ride, and queue to queue. Also DD likes to do BTM at least 5 times a day which adds on an extra day in total!

Have a cracking time.

Hi travlnman1 and welcome to DLP DIS board :wave2:
We are a friendly bunch here so please join in on any other thread or if you have a number of questions then just start a new thread for each :goodvibes

If you have not had a look yet, DLP posting rules are here (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1477038), DIS posting guidelines can be found here (http://www.wdwinfo.com/guidelines.htm).

I think we are fairly high up the leader board with the most number of days staying at DLP, however we have not had to travel as far as yourself :)
Is your trip part of a wider trip to Paris and Europe? If so I think I'd consider 2 days the most I would want to take out of the time I could be exploring other aspects of Europe :goodvibes

Thanks for all the input.
We would be in France for 1 week. The family has been to Paris before so we wouldn't be giving up touring Paris for DLP. My son will be in school in Bordeaux so seeing him for a few days and then travel to DLP was my plan.
I'm trying to work on a balance of days in each place.
How are the crowds the first week of March?
I know my son has break the last week in February.
Thank you all for the warm welcome. I feel as if I've ventured over to the other side of the DIS boards!
