Classical Music?

So as some people know, I absolutely love classical music. I know it means nothing to most people here, but I was wondering if anyone had any favourite works or composers?

Some of my favourites are:

The Rite of Spring
Carmen
Sleeping Beauty (of course :rolleyes: )
The King Shall Rejoice
Shostakovich's Fifth Symphony
And just about anything by Tchaikovsky

I like Bibbidi Bobbidi Bach! All Disney songs in classical tone! Suzi, do you heard this? I think you'd really like it!

I don't listen to a lot of classical, but if my parents have it on, it's usually Bach or Mozart.

I think its sooo pretty...I dont really have a favorite composer but i love all the fantasia stuff and such! :)

Love classical too! My favorite composer would have to be Bach or Chopin. Toss between the two....

You're only saying that because you've never really listened to it, classical music has much more passion and feeling to it than any music around today.

Natty, I've been meaning to buy that CD for ages, it sounds sooo good. As soon as I have enough pennies to scrape together, I'll buy it in, and then I can tell you all about it. (I bet you can't wait :rolleyes: )

I love todays music but classical has outlived anytime of music and it will continue to outlive all

britney spears isnt going to be listening to 200 years from now..but Bach and Tchaikovsky will though! :)

I love classical music, it is soo soothing and full of emotion. My fav is Beethoven's symphony number 6. For those who dont know which peice that is, in Disney's Fantasia, it is the music playing with the peaguses and centars and some gods.. and then it starts to rain.. i love it
