I have run out of these......
http://i274.photobucket.com/albums/jj242/beachwarmer/twisted.jpg
They are called Cadbury Creme Egg Twisted
I brought back 10 ;) (really more like 25) from my trip to England in June....and I ate the last one last night.......without knowing it.:scared1: :scared1:
They are the Easter Creme eggs but in a chocolate bar and available all year round. God bless the English for contributing this to our world.
Does anyone have a home reciepe for these???Let me bring this back to Disney(not that it is really necessary on this board) Can I get these in Epcot?
Please no hurricane come to Canada.....I have no hunkering chocolate left.

Those do look good. I have never seen those before, but I do Know that the Brittish specialty stores in my area do carry alot of cadbury goods. You might find them there or perhaps even a Deningers store if you have those where you live , (I live in Burlington/Waterdown area). I will keep my eye out for those and let you know if I see them. But if my Wife happens to see them before I do , you'r out of luck :rotfl2: .
Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

My DH is from Ireland-so I totally understand chocolate emergencies(as well as crisp, bisto, and frey bentos emergencies-but that's another story-lol). I did not see them back in Sept.( and I would have noticed-my DH LOVES cream eggs), but they might have added them-not sure. I am going on the 20th so if you would like, I could look for you. But for those "can not wait!!!!" emergencies I use 2 websites.
www.foodireland.com
www.britishfoods.com
Both have great selections, but I prefer the first more(maybe it's just a personal bias;) ) They have a whole section on cadbury chocolate-which has become my absolute favorite
Hope this helps you satisfy your fix!

I used to candy swap with a friend from Liverpool. I would send him Charms Blow Pops and he sent me Cadbury Flake. Ahh, those were the days.
I'll do a swap with you, Creme Egg Twisted (which I'll admit I was slightly disappointed with!!) for bottles of Mountain Dew :)

I stayed in London in The City for three weeks in a hotel with the only close restaurant a Weatherspoons Pub.....Creme Egg Twist was a decadent dessert.
P. S. Mountain Dew in Canada does not have caffine in it...the stuff in the US does....the US stuff is much better...

A thread I can relate to. It has been eons since I had the pleasure of visiting London but I recall chocolate being better and different. I'm a fan of dark chocolate. Will happily trade for chocolate
hand over the chocolate and no one gets hurt pirate:

There was too much Twist and not enough Creme Egg in it for me, i'll be sticking to regular Creme Eggs i think :cool1:
Oh and it's not the caffeine in the Mountain Dew i like, but it's (surely) radioactivity :lmao:

Weatherspoon pubs are a big chain all over the UK, the food isn't great, just a bit dull and bland really. Usually overpriced too!
I feel guilty asking people for fruit loops, cause postage is so expensive! My parents are going to Disney in October, and have sworn faithfully to buy me some then.

These are pretty good. Not up to Creame Egg Twisted taste though.
It is a whole bunch of chocolate curls, that you would decorate a cake with, but rolled all together into a tube. This use to be one of my favourites when we lived in Bermuda. The best way I have seen the Flake served is in Ireland, you get a large soft serve ice cream cone on the beach and there is one Flake bar stuck into the top of the cone.
I had heard a story that these were created when the manager of the Cadbury factory tried to figure out a way to use the left over chocolate from around the molds of the other bars.
You can get these in Epcot.

Not just Ireland, but all over the uk - they call it a '99 Flake' and you can even get it in supermarkets for home freezing, and i believe McDonalds also do it with their ice cream
