I don't see many reports or photos here os Teppan Edo so I wanted to post real quick about how much I LOVE it.
You are seated at a table for 8 (so you WILL be seated with other families if your party is smaller) and are given a warm Japanese welcome. You are given warm cloths to wash your hands with and then drink orders are taken. Shortly after you will have your food order taken and then your chef will be introduced. He will bring all the meal selections out and put on a "show" (some are better then others but the experience is fun no matter what) and your food is cooked in front of you. The grill is 500 degrees so keep kiddos hands AWAY!
You are given bowls of white rice and the meals are served with noodles and veggies (you can ask for items to be removed such as muchrooms or onions) and the kids had a great time trying to eat with the chopsticks from their "Monorail bowls".
The food is pretty good and the white sauce with the shrimp and veggies is YUUUUUUUMMMMMMMY!
Here is what I got for photos last week:

Oh yum! Your review has convinced me that we should do this instead of Living Seas. DH is asian so I think he'd appreciate this as well. Portion size looks fairly decent, eh? Those noodles look to DIE for!UmmmM!

See, now this is the dilemma. I do not have hoppers. So, I was going to cancel my teppan edo. To visit mgm twice. But, those pictures. OMG. Now, I do not wish to cancel. What is a lady to do. When confronted with yummy pics like these.

This restaurant is our favorite place to eat at Epcot (and, along with the buffet at the Beach Club and Liberty Tavern in Magic Kingdom, our favorite place in all Disney World).
For those not on the dining plan, we would recommend going there as a late lunch/early dinner (around 3:00 PM). You still get the lunchtime rates for the same food as the supper menu, and the ADRs are easy to get even sometimes as late as that morning. Great way to relax during the heat of the day, and the food/entertainment is fantastic!

I really want to give this one a try.
I think eating at Epcot is the reason I get the park hopper option.

Great pictures and review! Did the child's meal come with a fruit cup or did you bring that in the restaurant? My DD isn't a meat eater, but would gladly eat noodles, veggies, and a fruit cup. Thanks!:)

The fruit cup came with it. That is considered the dessert on the teriyaki chicken meal.

Thank you so much for the review and PICTURES at Teppen Edo. I felt like I was taking a leap of faith when I made that ADR so many months ago - - - there just weren't as many reviews then - and I think those are the only pictures I've seen of the food so far. Sooooooo looking forward to it!!!

Hi, I am not the OP, but we just ate there on our last trip, and my son is allergic to peanuts. We mentioned it to the server, and the manager came over and told us they do not use peanut oil, and he then asked if my son could have sesame seeds. He did not mention the sauces, so I am assuming there are no peanuts in the sauce (but you should ask just in case, of course--my son did not eat any of the sauces).
Also, for those that like the monorail dish, our server told us they can be purchased in the store downstiars. Also, the kids meals that are served in those dishes are not cooked on the grill; they are brought to the table already cooked. Once my son found out he could not keep the dish, he decided to order one of the meals that is cooked at the table instead, so that might be important to your child, too.

I was wondering about the Le Cellier, was planning to make reservations hear the food was great! Was wondering though if it is an okay place for kids. Food and Atmosphere!

We ate at Teppan Edo for the first time last Saturday and it was delicious. It is my new favorite place.
They did not list all of the ingredients in the sauces when they announced them, but none of them was called "peanut sauce." The darkest one was a ginger sauce, recommended for veggies. The medium brown one was a mustard sauce recommended for chicken and beef. I don't remember what the white one was called, but it was recommended for seafood. (I got chicken/steak, so I did not try that one.)

Yes, I agree none of the sauces were called Peanut sauce. Mustard, ginger, and the white one was introduced as "like Ranch sauce."
We liked the food but the portions were just enough not to feel stuffed. The negative thing I have to say is, my family of 5 was seated with 2 other couples. My 3 year old was placed at the corner of the table and she could barely reach her plate. Of course, my husband and I tried to scoot down on each side to allow her room but with our chairs we just couldn't pull her any closer. We were a little perturbed that we were arranged this way.

thanks for the sauce info... of course i will triple check with the chef and wait staff (as i do all the time everywhere!) but figured if i it was peanut sauce, we would just avoid the restaurant altogether, like we do w/'ohana...
thanks again :)

I am so glad I have given others the opportunity to try Teppan Edo if they were on the fence. WE LOVE IT.
I am changing an ADR for January's trip so we can visit Teppan Edo (only have 4 nights---not easy to choose!) instead.
Anyone who visits, be sure to check back in here and let me know what you thought!!
