Hoping someone has experience of hiring a car or booking private shuttle.
Are the prices on BStransport single journeys or return?

Yeah, they're for single trips ~ very expensive from Beauvais. :sad2:
I got all excited when I realised Ryanair was starting to fly from Bournemouth to Beauvais .......... then when I realised how expensive it was to get to DLRP from there it worked out cheaper to continue flying from Southampton to CDG with Air France. Perhaps it will be better for you to hire a car ~ at least you are used to driving over there. :thumbsup2
ETA: Forgot to say IMO go for October. We loved loved loved Christmas, it was truly magical, but Halloween was such fun :yay: and this year Jack Skellington is there! Don't suppose you have room in your suitcase for a little one??? :lmao:

:) we have flown Ryanair 3 times to beauvais from Prestwick and hired a car. We normally use Avis and have found them very good.
Its an easy enough drive and Beauvais is so small but does the job perfectly for a disney trip!
My friends used a private car transfer which was around 90 Euros each way.
Currently thinking about a sneaky xmas trip ourselves for the childrens birthdays. We have never been at xmas time!

Well I think it is safe to say 1 mod will still be here.
The budget airline prices with all the add-ons are just not coming out good.
There are a number of the car hire firms at Beavais that are not open on a Saturday :confused3
I agree about the shuttle prices from here... extreme :)

Last time we hired a car with Hertz and this trip I am going to take the bus into Paris 13 euros per person and then the RER to DLRP.
The only difficult place driving is at CDG aiport. We were fine going but took a wrong turing going back.

That's a shame. Mind you, I found that when we looked at both Ryanair and Flybe. Surprisingly Air France beat the socks off them both times.Well I think it is safe to say 1 mod will still be here.
And so will the other mod. I have been banned from going back to DLRP in the forseeable future. How will I survive? :confused3 :sad1: :sad1: :sad1:
Although I think DH has forgotten we have two Flybe tickets that I only need to pay the taxes on which are valid up to next July. :rolleyes1

We seem to always forget about Bexx... She'd still be here if you two went away I guess.

Im sure Bexx resigned from being a mod several months ago - am I right or did I dream that?

Is there not a bus into Paris where you can catch the train out - maybe works out just as much or too much hassle.
Did you know for 1250 airmiles you can get a free flight with BA from Aberdeen in October. Any tesco CC left? ;)
