Monday August 4th
woke up at Radisson SAS at 6.30am as we wanted to get checked in early & avoid the rush!
I had hardly slept & my stomach was churning - this always happens when i'm due to fly!!!
We arrived at the check in desk & there were no ques :) got checked in & went back to room to have a cuppa & chill.
When arrived at departure lounge was pleased to see flight was on time :)
& before we knew it we were boarding :)
I'd checked Augusts films online but they told us July's were still showing & they were pretty rubbish - this seemed to make the flight drag (as well as me being desperate to get ''home to WDW'' ;) DD wouldnt touch the food but i'd made some cobs & bought some other goodies so she lasted!
After what i'm glad to report was an uneventful flight we landed 15 mins early
at 2.05pm.
Bob from sun ray was waiting for us & soon we were on our way, i was sooo excited & as we drove under the 'welcome to Dissney world'' sign my eyes were a little moist!!!
As we pulled up at POP there was my mum stood outside waiting for us, i jumped out & we hugged Dad as usual had just decided to go to the restroom (more lingo ;)) just before we arrived!
Got served straight away at checkin, i practicaly threw my arms at the girl - well threw them on the counter & said ''you dont know how glad i am to be here'' mum had already told them we were arriving & had (as i'd asked) requested a room in 50's with lake view 3rd floor (requested 4th but it wasnt a problem), which is just what we got - next door to mum & dad.
The rooms were just fine & the view outside over the lake was lovely :)
We went over to the food court to get mugs & dinner. Mum, Dad, Gary & Leanne shared a pizza & i (with the best intentions ;)) had a very good chicken ceaser salad (i might add that was the only one i had the whole trip though :rolleyes1 I told my parents all about the previous days drama.
Leanne started to complain that her ear was really hurting so we went back to the room & she went to bed, mum stayed with her while Gary, Dad & I stood outside & watched a great view of Illuminations fireworks :)
We went to bed at 10pm, early rise tomorrow for Tusker House Breakfast at the Animal Kingdom
