We booked our Sep 09 holiday on the day the free DDP was released, and i have just gone online to upgrade our BC room to a waterview and low and behold after doing this my new invoice shows a discount of £422.00 due to VAA FLIGHT ADJUSTMENT.

Now i think this is brilliant, but out of curiousity does anyone know what this is, as i'm now just worried that it is somehow going to end back up on holiday total.

But if its all Kosher then im over the moon :rotfl:  :yay: :cheer2: :woohoo:

VH have put this adjustment on all their new bookings. It caused a furore last week as many people had only just booked then found their holiday had vastly reduced in price, some by several £££. There are threads about this on the Dibb and people have found by amending their bookings they are getting this new adjustment.

Out of curiosity I priced up my holiday again (which is something I never usually do) and the adjustment given to us if we were to book now is very small. I wouldn't risk amending my booking because I would worry about losing the FC 10% discount which is much more than the adjustment but congratulations to you on getting a better price.
