Average price for hair braids?

Does anyone remember how much you paid for hair braiding either on the ship or in port? Did you get your whole head or just front half or ??? How long did it last?

Anyone know if there is hairbraiding in Key West, Grand Cayman, or Cozumel since we'll be on the Western???

We just got back and my son 11y/o got his whole head done in St Marten for $40. It took 70 minutes. I talked the women down from $60. The standard rate is $2 per braid.

Its a dollar per braid and $2 per cornrow on the ship. My daughter had her whole head done, she has extremely thick hair - 33 braids and 16 corn rows, so plus tip it was $71. I did hear several people stop by on the ship while hers was being done who had gotten theirs done in St. Maarten and it was coming out already - don't know where they had it done.
