Pass It Forward Swap
Due October 2nd.
Do you have items from previous swaps that you know you just won’t get around to using? Then this is the swap you have been waiting for. Go through your already made items and pull out what you know you won’t use or have a future need for. Sort your items and put them in groups of 5 (five) points and put them in a baggie. See listing below for points value of each item. I am using TPCShauna’s established system. If I am missing an item, just let me know.
Here are the rules:
1. Each baggie must be worth no less than 5 points. These items must be Disney related. This is to ensure the most use possible for the recipient. Feel free to add extra items of other themes if you want to put in RAK.
2. Each baggie must be filled with useable items. No folded, crumpled, unglued work please. Yes, you may send items made from another board or ones you made for yourself if they meet the basic requirements of most of our swaps.
3. Each baggie does not have to have matching items, but it would be nice if you can.
4. No store bought items please.
5. Limit of 10 baggies each. (this will fit comfortably in a flat rate envelope)
6. Please label the outside of your baggie with your DISname prominently. This is so I don’t send you back the items you were giving away.
7. You will get back the same number of baggies you send in.
8. Please send $4.80 for a flat rate return envelope. Add $0.65 if you want Delivery Confirmation.
9.These are due to me by October 2nd. I will have them swapped and mailed back out by October 6th.
10. Please PM me with your DISname, real name, address, email & phone number. I will make the labels up ahead of time.

We did do it once last year, so I plan on doing at least once a year.


The basement is completely empty except for what is on the built in shelves and back storage area. Not sure what we are going to do. We need to find a professional and have them evaluate the problem. So it's gonna just sit unused for a while. Can't stand the clutter with all the basement stuff upstairs, but what can I do? :confused3 There just isn't space to put it and the kids use it, so I can't do offsite storage.

I'm going to go with 0.5 points per paperclip. The swaps seemed to make 3 or 4 of them, but I don't want to go lower than 0.5. Too much math isn't necessary. ;)

Nope. We all know that everything we make won't be used by everyone. That is just the nature of some of the swaps we join. Items in some groups just won't be used by every swapper. I'm pretty sure no one will take it personally if they get their own items back. I know I like all of mine, and I didn't make a lot of duplicates for both boys to have them in their books. I won't mind. :)

Sure. Since this is going to be a blind swap, there isn't a need to send more than the one five point baggie if that is all you can find right away. I have tons of my own swaps to go through too to see what I will part with.

I tried to write them down as I took them from one place to the other. I do know that by using the numbers listed, I only got seven back instead of 10. So somewhere I messed up with numbers. I looked at the baggies to make sure it looked like there was enough stuff inside, but I didn't go through all of them. I'm really sorry if you ended up with the same theme of things you sent. If you do end up with more things that you won't use, put them aside. The next time I do this, I will put them in better catagories. Like all MK, AK, characters, DHS that you can label your baggies and then you can request what you want back. You can send in MK stuff and want AK back or you can send in MK stuff and still want MK back.

Mine arrived today. What fun! I so love mail day. There are a few individual items I'll have to make a special trip if I want to use - but - WOW! The quality is amazing - as always. And - I got something for Spectromagic! (our very very very favorite thing at Disney). Yea!!!

OOPS - forgot to add - thank you AWM for the wonderful extra gift. It was totally unexpected and very wonderful.

Mine arrived today- amazingly enough as many swaps as I have been in only 1 items is something I already have- and it was one with 1 shaker box in it that had broken that I originally made. She figured I could fix it or reuse the beads.
