Best brand of transfers?

I'm sure this has been asked a million times but the search is locking up and wont work for me right now. Is there a best brand of t-shirt transfers to use for both light and dark? I've seen a lot of people using Avery. Any good products anyone recommends? Thanks!

As far as light transfers, I do not know - I use dark for everything. I like that I do not need to flip anything. I also think that the dark transfers seem more vibrant in color.

I am sure others will be around to give their opinion as well. This is just my opinion.

I've used both Avery (light) and HP (both light and dark). IMHO, I prefer HP over Avery ALL the time! And, for 90% of the shirts, I prefer DARK transfers over light. Another reason to consider HP is that their web site offers buy 2 get 1 free often with free overnight shipping available as well.

Avery light were difficult for me to peel off the backing; I found HP much easier to manipulate.

You'll probably find as many opinions as there are major brands.

i can vouch for amy's transfers... definitely support our fellow diser, especially an incredible designer.... I'll be posting my pics by the weekend to show you the differences in paper and my mistakes i made... stand bypopcorn::

So - thanks Amy for doing all the research for the xfers. I will be ordering my xfers from you. So what is your opinion of the tshirts - any brand better than the other? Any website the best to order from ?

I have ordered from jiffyshirts.com in the past and was very happy. They have so many colors and size choices that it is easy to get the same colors for everyone in your family. And they ship very quickly too. I am not sure which brand I got, I think they were Gildan but they have so many different brand and styles to choose from.

For retail shirts, I like the ones they sell at Joann's. I think they are Jerzees brand - but they are so soft and comfy. I normally watch for a sale though, I think the regular price is a little steep if you are buying quite a few.
