September cruise special

Can anyone give me a brief overview of the September DVC cruise "special"? I just visited the DVC site and there was a blurb about on-board credits, etc... Do you have to use points to receive the credits? Is there a special price?

Based on last years special, you need to pay for at least one person using points. The cash price for the remaining party will be the prenegotiated rate between DVC and DCL. This has typically been at or around the Early Booking Price. They have not in the past offered any deeper discounts on the cash price.
