So my transfers are not working out as I had hoped. :confused3 I have had several mishaps but here is the latest. I washed 4 that I finished and after I washed them, not only were they bubbled, but the top portion of the transfer was peeling away from the shirt. Now, I know I double checked all my edges prior to washing the shirts so it wasn't there before. I washed in cold water and dried them on low heat. I thought I would just iron over the edges again - :scared1: BAD move. The transfer melted and I ruined the shirt. Yes I did you the paper over the transfer by the way. So my question is, if this happens to the other 12 shirts I made - what do I do? Just leave it? :confused3
Also, can anyone tell me why the transfer bubbled? :confused: Thanks!

ouch, how terrible..the only thing I can think of is that you didn't iron it long enough? I had one do that to me, but, once I ironed it, the transfer stayed down...maybe some other more trouble shooter can come up with a solution..sorry it had to happen...

oh no, so sorry to hear that! What a bummer.
my guess re bubbling would be that the iron wasn't evenly applied throughout the entire design (but this is just a guess on my part)
re top portion peeling away, that sounds like the iron wasn't on that part of the transfer long enough and hot enough.
If it were me, and I couldn't say with 100% certainty that I followed the mfr. directions EXACTLY, then I'd get the package instructions out and follow the directions TO THE LETTER on one more shirt. If the problem repeats, I'd call/write the mfr. and see what they can do to remedy the situation for you as it might be a defective package of transfer papers.
let us know what happens.
