Make Ressie at time of purchase?

I posted a few questions yesterday, but perhaps I packed too much into my post. Only got one response.

My biggest question:
Can you make reservations at the time you sign the paperwork (I'm doing the tour on Monday and will probably buy, esp. if my use year concerns are dealt with)? If not, how long before we can?

If you're buying direct thru Disney, you can reserve as soon as you give them your deposit and sign the paperwork. If you buy a resale, you cannot reserve until after the sale closes and you are in Disney's database as the new owner.

I made my first ressie the day I called and made my deposit, so it can be done. Just let your guide know that you want to make a ressie, and they should be able to help you out. Mine even made the ressie for me!
