Well, darn if I'm not going to have to go back to Dis in August (we're booked for May). I wanted to try POR-FQ (no idea if this card is good for that..just says most moderates.). At $84 a night, I can't see not going back! Do any of you know, if the code ends on a certain date..can you start your ressies on that date? Thanks!

I called and asked. Yes, I was able to start our ressie on the last day and continue it past the code time.

It's a postcard..so it needs a pin with the code. I truly believe we get them because we always stop on our way in the parks and answer questions..I can't figure out any other reason...although I see this one is in my hubby's name..and all of our vacations/DC/Disney site have been in my name..well, there goes that theory.

I got a postcard too! Mine is for the AKL for $129 ( & up). It doen't say anything about this rate being good at another resort. This is the first time we've gotten a postcard. I hope we can use it, it's good 6/23 though 8/24.

I got our postcard yesterdya for the $84 moderate rate too!
Haven't decided if we'll utilize it though. If we go at the end of August the new baby will be only one month old and we would probably want to drive down.

Yes, that's the date on mine, but the gal said you could start your ressie's on the 24th. We're going the 21st - 27th. Just us grown-ups this trip..although we'll be there with grands in about two weeks!!
Now I'll have to join connections for a bit, to get some Q & C vouchers...we only have enough for this trip!

I got an email postcard from disney for $84 moderates till aug 24th- I called to check if available for deluxe and it was! $169 BWI- checking in end og August for 7 nights- can't wait!!

PS It has a pin code but CRO didn't ask for it when I checked for the rate- I just gave them the code

She asked me for it..but she didn't say I had to bring the card. I will just in case, since one other time they asked for it. Maybe with the pin # it doesn't matter.

DMRick, I also received and made a reservation with a postcard and she emphatically told me to bring the postcard with me, they need the pin number and they verify that you are the one the postcard is addressed to. I'm so excited, I'm going solo this trip and I get to go to CBR!! Have a wonderful trip!!:bounce: :D :bounce: :D :bounce:

DMRick, I also received and made a reservation with a postcard and she emphatically told me to bring the postcard with me, they need the pin number and they verify that you are the one the postcard is addressed to.

I just called..they told me not to worry about bringing the postcard..that the pin leads to my name and address, and if they need to verify, I just need to show some ID. They have the pin on file. I'll stick it in, just in case. My credit card will have my name on it also.

If you misplace your postcard, do they keep it on file? I had one, didn't think we'd use it and now I don't know where it is!

..We went in Feb on a post card. It came shortly after 9/11 and I tossed it. Then called and they gave me the $84.00 rate. I just got an deluxe card that shows AKl for $129.00 has to be used 6/23 to 8/24. We can't go then but I am planning a trip next Feb. has anyone heard of them letting you extend the date if you call? We are planning an early Feb trip so it will be value season.
