I am going in June. 22-29. Where do they let them out? Will they do it then? Anyone know?

Hi. The ladybug release program is used by Disney to cut down on the use of pesticides. It is conducted every Thursday at Wilderness Lodge at 10am and every Thursday at the Polynesian Resort at 11am., at the back entrance of the Great Ceremonial House. There is a "ladybug expert" on hand to answer questions. It is free to participate. It takes about 10 minutes, depending on whether you pick out the ladybugs out of the little matchbox they give you, or whether you just turn it over and dump them out onto the plants all at once. For participating, you may receive either a certificate, Jiminy Cricket stickers, or a little magnifying glass. Hope this sheds some light on the matter for you. It is open to both children and adults.

To answer the question about participating if you are staying at another resort, they do not advertise it at other hotels, but I am sure if you show up at the time that they have it, it should be ok since it is a free program, and no where does it say only for guests of the Polynesian or the Wilderness Lodge. To answer the question about making it to the WL after an 8am brkfst at the Cape May Cafe, I think you should be able to make it, if you have your own car. I am not sure if you are using Disney transportation, if you would be able to make it in time, since you would probably have to take a bus to the transportation center, and then get a bus there to the WL. That could take a while. If that is the case, you may be better off going to the 11am at the Polynesian to insure that you have enough time.
