Which moderate has the best themed pool?

Just curious which mod would have the best pool for an 11 yo boy and a 14 yo girl. Also, are the mod pools that much better than the AS pools?

I think the big difference in the pools between values and moderates is that the moderates have a water slide.

Although I haven't been, for the age group your talking about, I think they might like the pool at CSR. The digsite is supposed to have a great water slide geared towards older kids. I've stayed at POFQ which I liked very much, but the water slide might be a little too tame for them.

My vote is for the CSR. I have not stayed there yet, but Piglet203 and I will be in 32 days. The pool looks really nice, and bigger than the pool at CBR (I stayed there and thought the main pool was really small). The pool at PO looks small, too. I can't wait to get a picture with Piglet203 and myself in front of the Myan Pyramid and then go down the long slide.

The water slide at the POR is really nice. Old Man Island is large and even in the summer months we were always able to get chairs. I doubt that a fake dig site would entertain an 11 & 14 YO. The arcade is a good size and the crowd of kids in there is nice. My kids loved the B&YC pool the best so if you can get agood code ratte that might be the way to go.

Well, I asked my 13 yr old ds and my 11 yr old dd, which they liked best. DS said he liked the slide at CS, but he liked the pool at POR just as much he likes the waterfall and the slide, he said he likes the resort, POR more. My 8 yr old ds said he can't remember. { I guess it's time to go back!!} DD said while she liked the slide at CS she likes POR's pool better. Guess where we are staying in Aug. We love POR!!!! Either one is nice. We like the feel at POR. My dh likes all the trees and such at POR. He says CS doesn't have enough vegitation for him.:rolleyes: Have a wonderful time. :D

For younger kids, PO-FQ with the serpent slide!

For everyone else, Coronado Springs with the jaguar slide!

Thanks for all the info and thanks to Buzz20001 for the great pics! With all I keep hearing about CSR being a convention hotel with less theming I never expected such a great looking pool.
Any more opinions?

The slide at Coronado for sure. You know whats great about a convention hotel. Those people all have their own company agenda to follow and don't use the slide or the buses as much as other resorts.

For those aged kids I agree with Mario and his pictures! I like all of the mod themed pools but CSR is tops for me.

For the best slide, I would choose CSR, but for the best theming, I would go with PO-R, hands down!!!!
