What kind of luck has everyone had with..

being assigned a room guarantee. We were fortunate enough to get ressies on the Aug 3rd sailing but for our family of 5 we had to get a catergory 4. All they had left was a Cat 4 Guarantee so we wont know what stateroom we've been assigned until we check in. The CSR said that there would be a possiblity of a upgrade or just a Cat 4. Just a little nervous about being in the very front of the ship (we had this on carnival and whoa baby.. was I a sick puppy for the first 3 days).
Anyone had any luck getting upgraded?

I'm not sure what odds I would assign to the probability that you'll be upgraded to a Category 3.

I can't say what level of cabin or what location you will be assigned, but I will say that I wouldn't be afraid to receive any location that they have.

And I do know I can offer encouragement about the way the Disney ships handle the ocean. They seem to be superior in their ability to handle the waves. I was on a Carnival ship, about midship with an outside cabin on the Main deck. We felt a lot of motion in our cabin and even more when we were in the restaurants and the shows on the higher decks. The seas were reported to be lower than other times when we were on Disney ships yet it was more noticeable.

We have been on four Disney cruises on various decks and in various sea conditions and have never been very uncomfortable with the motion. The Disney ships have stabilizers that are very effective.
