Looking at the menu for Cap'n Jacks in the Marketplace and they have twin lobster tails on the menu. Would they be restricted with the DDP? The price is $33. :confused3

Nope! No restrictions at Cap'n Jacks. We get the lobster every trip!

We were there on 8/18 and unfortunately we all agreed it was our least favorite meal of the entire trip.
Yes, you can get anything, but those lobster tails left us a little hungry still and DD made the mistake of ordering the kids mac n cheese.
We were definately looking forward to the lobster, but were left extremely disappointed.

I got lobster the last time we were there and they were small and dry. I think I will try something else next time if I go back.:confused3

I've heard the tails are small....
We're booked here, but not sure that we're going to keep it. My mom really wanted to go to get the lobster tails, but we live on Cape Cod & my husband has lobster traps here... Every few days he goes down to empty them...
I know I'm "lobstered" out...maybe if I convince my mom we'll bring her some lobsters we can book someplace else.

Thanks for the info. Maybe I will order the Penne Pasta with the lobster sauce instead. I have had that before and it was good. :)

lobsters are on the dining plan....didnt order them though....saw them go by and they are very small...coming from boston there is no need to order lobster when in florida. my boyfriend got some other kind of fish and crab cakes which he said were delisicous and i got chicken and rice which was great as well

Lobster is included. I agree with the others that the tails themselves were disappointing. We also had bad service when we were there and crossed it off of our list of places that we 'have' to go to.

:cool1: :hippie: Got the twin lobsters last Sept. and this June and plan on getting them this Sept. They have great crab cakes for apps and will do this OOP.

Yummm, do you need a new friend? Just teasing, I am envious. I love lobster and it is hard to come by (good lobster) in my neck of the woods.
We also have reservations at CJs which I made due to the lobster tails. Now I am wondering if I should order something different.

I think that unless you're a lobster snob you'll be fine :teeth:
Unless something else sounds fantastic to you, I'd give them a try. My grousing comes from a place of having lots of lobster and lots of good lobster growing up. To me there are other special things that I can do at Disney so I'll skip Cap'n Jack's. If that was my only place for lobster in a year, then I'd go there.

We had the lobster tails in August and they were great. However we were talking to a waitress and she said that they are introducing a new menu in October and the lobster tails are suppose to be taken off. Not sure how true this is, its just what we were told.
