If you could only eat at one of these restaurants for dinner, which would you choose? I'm really torn between these two, both sound wonderful! We'd love to try both, but I can't see us getting over to AKL twice during our stay.

I know Jiko is more expensive, but that does not matter to us (we're on vacation, right?! ). We want good food and atmosphere. It will be 2 adults and 2 kids, 5 & 7yo boys, that are well-behaved and used to dining at nice restaurants.

TIA!

JIKO!!!

After the suggestion from fellow dis'ers of whether I should switch my Yachtsman adr to Jiko...I did it...and I'm so glad I did.
It was probably tied with California grill as the best meal of the week. I had the seared tuna which was awesome.....and dbf cannot stop talking about the filet. I was allowed to get a bite of his and it just melted in your mouth.

If money is not an object...definitely go for JIKO

I would say go for Boma...you get more choices and if you've never had african food going to Boma is a great way to try alot of dishes

I've never been to Jiko but we absolutely love Boma ... there's such a variety of food and it's all wonderful!

Maybe it just depends whether you'd rather have a buffet or a sit down meal.
