Kay really excited now. Am leaving in two weeks yeah!!
Does anyone know where I can get the brita sipper bottles. Just the single ones that you can carry around the parks and fill up from the fountains with the filter already built in. I live in the London, Ontario area.

Thanks
Hugs

I bought mine on eBay; Brita no longer makes them. There is an alternative product that I'm aware of, but DIS censors the link for some silly reason. They're based in the US and have obscene shipping rates, so it probably doesn't matter anyways.

I have a Brita bottle and obtained extra filters from Liquidation World last year when they were clearing them out for a dollar! Unfortunately, the bottles are no longer available in Canada but I did see them 2 weeks ago in Australia! They were available at Target, so if you know someone downunder you could get them to mail one to you. The postage will be a shock though! The question I asked myself is why are they only available in Australia and not NA?

There's a similar product sold by L.L. Bean. It's about $40. I've ordered things from them before, the shipping is not too bad. Only problem is that I am not sure you would get it in time for this trip (you are leaving in two weeks?)

Get them shipped to your hotel in the states, so they are waiting when you arrive, and then you do not have to pay the shipping to Canada.

Here's some info on the product mentioned by a previous poster.

Head into a local hiking store. They may be able to help you.

We usually just carry a Camelbak (www.camelbak.com) we fill up with ice and water in the morning.

Later on we ask for ice and water from a counter service in one of the parks and refill the Camelbak

We picked up the filters but couldn't find the bottles. We ended up using a regulare bottle and cutting the plastic down some so the would fit.
