If you had 24 hours to blow

where would you go? Where would you stay......Port Canaveral, Orlando? Which motel/hotel? We have a little more than 24 hours after we leave the ship before our flight leaves. We'll have a rental car to return to Orlando airport. Looking for input of where to stay and what to do in that time........thanks!

I would check out a dinner theater in Orlando. You can get half price tickets in advance through dreams.

Otherwise i might be tempted to stay in Daytona the night before.

Do you have children? If so...

I vote for the Space Center. No Science Center can compete with how wonderful that place is. There's lots of nice hotels in the area and you can get some great rates using codes from their websites. Dave has a nice list of different places and so does the Space Centers Official Website.

How about Disney Quest or Pleasure Island if you have no children. There's also some great rates at the offsite Disney Hotels.

We're going to Disney World! We have two kids (8 1/2 and 10) and we couldn't miss Walt's Birthday! It's been about 3 years since we've been there, and there's no other trip planned, so we're doing a commando day at Magic Kingdom.

But, my original plan was to do Cape Canaveral. I was able to get a good rate at the Hampton, and I thought it would be good for the kids to do. The mouse was just better when we put it to a vote!
