For once PC users have something the MAC users don't yet. Don't worry this tool can't be single sided for to long, its just way to cool. If you have a PC check out photosynth.net , it was actually featured on CSI its so cool.
Basically, this program will detect pixels on a photograph and match them up. This creates a near like 3d environment of your photo shoot. Granted you will need to take LOTS of photos, but imagine the possibilities. Check out some of other peoples synths and I bet you'll want to make your own. I can't wait to try this out, so for all you photographers, here ya go!

is it kinda like the 360 camera shoot on "YOUR BEST SHOT"? the series on VH1 where they had I think 900 cameras creating a circle that took the shot at the same time with the push of one cable release?:worship:
this created a 3d image

This is an example -- someone on cruise critic posted this pic of the h20 zone on RCL Freedom of the Seas. He said he used Photosynth to "stitch" the pictures together to create this one:

You can tell this one was "stitched" by the "ghosts" to the right of the hot tub ---

Either that, or the ship is haunted by former cruisers.... :lmao: I sort of like the ghosts!

Very cool:thumbsup2 thanks. Can't wait to try it. Just got back from sons Poconos race. Took 500+ pics. That should be enough;)
Oohhh this is awesome! I am definitely trying this out on our trip (leaving in 5 days!). My new camera shoots 5 frames/sec, I could just turn in circles shooting randomly.
Where would be some cool places to try this?
