Actually Met a lot of DIS podcast fans this past week

I was visiting the World Aug 21-27 and meet at least 6 people who are fans of the site. I had the Green Mickey attached to my bag and got tapped on the shoulder a few times and a couple of others from conversations the topic came up

We all raved about the great ideas people have shared and how this site made each of our visits a little more special. We all tried new things we would not have know about if it was not for the pod cast and this site.

That is fantastic - I was in WDW for 3 weeks in July and wore my LGMH and my Dis Unplugged pin at all times and met no one :sad1: :sad1: . Sounds like you were lucky :)

It was crazy, I didn't expect to meet anyone but I said what the heck. Went to Home Depot and picked up the paint sample and attached it to my bad and stroller. I got tapped on the shoulder walking into the Magic Kingdom the first time, on the busses and sitting at the hotel pool.

When I was there Mother's Day weekend...I had made a button with the green mickey head that I had attached to my pin lanyard. I remember having one person smile at me...never said anything so I'm not sure if the person was just friendly or was smiling at my "tiara" or what. :rotfl2:
I did not have anyone speak to me which kind of bummed me out.

for those at WDW over the next few weeks, you may have a chance of bumping into a brit diser or two.....

about 40 people from the dis UK board will be at WDW some time during september....(almost all staying on property for free dining)...

Wow! I'm glad you ran into some DISer's! How cool. I was really hoping I would.
We were there just before you (14-19) and I ran into 2 Lurkers! :rotfl2: Really! They both said "I see your LGMH", but when I asked, they both said they only lurk..... Come out of lurkdom, guys.

But, alas, did not see anyone else there with LGMH's. And I was looking for them:thumbsup2

I hope to meet dis'ers while I am there in October. Loved the Big LGMH Button. I may use that idea also. I bought a Neon LG T-shirt and plan on making a Splatter Bleached Mickey Head on the front of the shirt to wear.

we will be there in a little over two weeks. Gonna have our LGMH on our bags and head gear.:thumbsup2
