I have never been a writer. If you could crumple a word document on your computer, I'd have a full waste basket.

I've been on about 4 trips since joining the Disboards, and always say I want to do a trip report. It never happens, I forget a lot of details by the time I get home. For this trip, I wanted to do a daily video diary, so that I wouldn't forget anything. Then I thought, why not do a video Trip Report? Thanks to the powers of youtube, this can happen!

I had no idea what a pre trip report was, what is there to say? A friend on the DIS, who's mother is writing a PTR, convinced me to make my own. Hey FigmentsFriend, I know you're out there!:wave

So why not a video pre trip report? I won't have to write anything, I won't have to remember anything. You'll just have to put up with all my "ummms" and "erms" and poor editing skills. But it will all be worth it! I'd love to have people get to know me, and my trip, so they know what to look forward to once we get down there and report back! So here it is! My first installment of my PTR!

Those many TS ressies are going to be the downfall to my budget! The dining will be included in my day 1, day 2 kind of reports. No seperate report.

To try and keep this thread ummmm alivea bit, I want to include a few photos from my old trips every few days, just to keep things going between videos.

http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z78/sanapunk/disney1.jpg
My brother took this picture when we were there in September 07. I didn't even know it til we got home, and I thought it came out really cute, having me and my boyfriend in the shot! This was from the first day, I wore those ears since 5 am at the airport!! The security guy checking me was like "somebody is going to disney world!!"

http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z78/sanapunk/disney2.jpg
Me and Nacole from our May 05 trip. We were so excited to find Prince John, he's one of our favorite characters! I have this picture in our scrapbook with the caption "PIMP JOHN!":rotfl:

http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z78/sanapunk/disney3.jpg
This is from our Feb 07 trip. We rode the peoplemover probably 3 times that day alone. It's one of our favorite rides, with all the corny commentary!

http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z78/sanapunk/disney4.jpg
This is the snow white photo I was talking about in my intro! It's from MNSSHP, Pete's costume is homemade by his grandmother, they look so adorable!!

http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z78/sanapunk/disney5.jpg
When they went for Nacole's birthday in March they stayed at all star movies, there's so many cute places there to take pictures!

That's a cute little story about the ears! ;)

Awesome costumes, it's hard to tell who are the official characters and who are the guests! :worship:

Keep the pics comin'....:3dglasses

Yea sometimes the guest costumes are just plain better, and that's kinda sad!

Tonight nacole kept texting me asking the price of eveerrryyything, and at the end she's like "did we think we won the lottery when we planned this trip!" :rotfl: we really do have too much planned that like, cost extra. Maybe we should cut out BBB, only because I'm sick of growing my hair out anyways!!

I had to cut them in half because youtube won't let you upload anything longer than 10 minutes. It's about 15 minutes long.

This was fun, I was sitting here eating my dinner and watching like it was a TV show :rotfl: popcorn::

When we went to Boma last year there was no steak :sad2: We were there definitely on an "off night", though I didn't hate it. I loved the Zebra Domes! ;)

I also love the Sci-Fi movies, they're very entertaining :yay: One of the best TS in all of Disney for sure, at least for the atmosphere.

AK during EMH is my absolute favorite so.....DO THIS! You will love it at night! We will be there 12/3 for it. Ok, actually we will be there all day and EMH :lmao:

Love your Alice shirt, that is one of the best Disney ones I've seen! :wizard:

Can't wait for the official Disney-home tour! :woohoo:

I spy Cheshire Cat pillow...

That stinks about the steak not being there, I WOULD DEMAND A REFUND!:lmao: Really, its all we go there for so I'd be pretty upset.

Thanks, I love that Alice shirt, I got it at Delias! They always have super cute disney shirts. and yes, that is my lovely cheshire pillow, from disneyshopping.com!

I did a quick tour of my house to showcase my Disney collection. Youtube only allows 10 minutes of video and after finishing my editing, I noticed I left out two things:

MY MONORAIL!! :( I have the monorail toy going around my pool table with the Contemporary. I'll add it in next time.

and my Disney shirt!! I was wearing my Mary Poppins Broadway T shirt. :(:(

That's what I get for being hasty!!

First off, you're quite an artist! :thumbsup2 The Dumbo drawing is just beautiful! :goodvibes It looks just like the original Disneyland Dumbo-vehicle that hangs at One Man's Dream!

Okay and I'm going to guess which movie it was by the opening....was Cinderella playing on the TV?? ;)

I'm in love with your throw pillows, especially the Alice and Mad Hatter one. I remember you telling me you got them at the Disney Store so I went ahead and did an Ebay search so when I've got the money I can buy the whole collection :yay:

The Wall-E toy is adorable :lovestruc I just love that little guy.

The Star Tours miniature is so unusual, I've never seen that before! :wizard:

Love the Mickey kitchen, we debated buying that stuff last year! The kettle is so cute.

I'm still waiting on that monorail......:rolleyes1

:worship: awesome stuff. Oh and Dexter is really cute, too!

Thank you!! I was working on a peter pan painting too, but it never got finished. I have a friend finishing it for me! LOL.

And sorry, but it's Peter Pan on the Tv! ;( They might still have some of those throw pillows on disneyshopping.com, that's where i got them.

We bought the last one of the star tours toy! We saw it earlier in the week and went back to buy it and it was gone, we saw one sitting on the register waiting to be reshelved!

What a detailed scrapbook! :yay:

I personally envy the fact you got to take cute pictures in Minnie's home, every time I'm in there I'm surrounded by 100,000 people and have to scoot out of everybody's way :confused3

Your view at Beach Club is beautiful :cloud9: Last year I naively thought I might be able to save enough to stay there! :lmao: Yeah, that didn't happen but someday!

Is Robin Hood usually out in Adventureland? I've seen Friar Tuck many times but never the man himself.

So you call him Fatty, huh? Poor Pooh!! :rotfl2:

I like that you're wearing your mouse ears at the airport! show the love! :woohoo: It's getting closer, I'm excited for you!!

That was actually the only time I have been able to take pictures in Minnie's house. I don't get why it's always so crowded, most of the times I've gone through it, she wasn't even out back greeting!

I never would have been able to afford to stay at BCV if it wasn't for the timeshare! That room is like 350 a night!! It only costed us about 300 for the whole week!

I found the Robin Hood Characters right in front of the emporium! I think they're so random that they just stick them where ever greeting needs to be fulfilled.

Me AND Pooh were fatty! HEY! IT'S A BUFFET!

So I've kind of been ignoring this thread since it's lacking popularity and I have also been too busy taking mini trips to Disney before my big one in December.

But if anyone out there care sor is listening, I still intend on making my video trip report, just quit with the pre trip videos. I really didn't have much left to include anyways! But I came back from a PI trip a month ago and never updated as well. And I'll be going for another trip next week, for Halloween. So when I get back I will do 30 day update with photos and stories from my last 2 trips! hooray!

Hi!

Just found your trip reports on youtube today! They are great. Feels like we are much in the same boat here. Iīm also going the first half of december (1-16) with my boyfriend and some siblings. We are also in our 20s and fanatic Disney collectors.

Your trip report is really making me excited to go and really considering maybe doing my own trip report the video way. Not that itīs going to be as good as yours!:worship: :rotfl: You use a lot of "hmms" and "ahhs" when english isnīt your first language. But maybe, itīs a great idea!

ok, now Iīm gonna quite rambling so much...maybe I will see you at Mousefest!

Hi Sanapunk,

I am thoroughly enjoying your posts and videos. Please continue.
I found your commentary on your PTR video great.

Keep up the good work!!

And I agree, it is hard to write a trip report. I think I may do a video report as well. You've inspired me!
