The Cast
Jackie - Chief planner of this trip and chief spender of the $$$$$
Brian - Supplier of the $$$$$, Driver and chief Bud light drinker
Molly - Age 8 - not so keen on the fast rides and loves Pokemon
Lewis - age 6 - cheeky Monkey and hates shopping
John (my dad) - tags on at the end and generally does as he is told
Toni (my mum) - loves Disney but found July a bit too hot
25th July
As we were nearing the end of our holidays we gave the kids the choice of where they wanted to go and it was decided Blizzard Beach. Off we went and noticed it was very bust as we went in. We managed to get seats just beside the wave pool so we dumped our bags, left my mum to fry and we headed off to the family raft ride. The kids loved this and demanded I climb those stairs again. It takes longer to climb those stairs than it does to ride!!!!! We then went on the toboggan slide and then as usual they dumped me and headed off to the bigger rides. I headed back to see if my mum was oven ready and found her snoring her head off so went to fill the refillable mugs and then sat and read my book for a while.
The troops all appeared back when their tummys rumbled so I headed off and picked them up some lunch which was scoffed and then they dragged me for a bob about in the wave pool whilst DH digested his food!!!!!

DS then wanted me to go watch her on the death slide and I have to video – it wasn’t till we got back to the seats that we discovered I had not recorded anything – ooooooops and promised to go back later. They all headed off again and then my dad appeared back to tell me DD was in the queue for the Death slide again so to bring the camera again – success this time.

By this time is was nearly 3pm and we had to get back to the villa to shower as we had an ADR at Rainforest Café. We did a quick turnaround and were arriving in the DTD carpark 10 minutes before our ADR. We were seated quickly and we all had a lovely meal.

Once we finished our meal we ( yup you guessed it) headed to the shops .
We headed to the Art of Disney shop and I bought a couple of Disney books and DS decided he wanted the resident artist to draw him Jedi Mickey – which he did. We then moved onto World of Disney which I picked up a few bits and bobs.
I then headed back to the Pearl factory where I got the twin pearls made into earrings . Then it was onto Goofys Candy Company where we all chose a cake of some sort to eat later.

We were all shopped out and my purse was a lot lighter so we headed off home where we all sat and relaxed with a drink or two and started to get that “oh no it will soon be time to go home” feeling
