I had booked Southwest for my December trip and the fare each way dropped. I was paying $158 each way and now its $89. I now have a credit sitting for the Podcast cruise.

I got one yesterday as well but only the return trip on 12/4. $170 to $89. :)

But, there was no Ding for it. I check everyday anyway because sometimes you just can't trust technology. ;)

I really lucked out. I called my friend who is travelling with me and when she went to get the new price, our return flight had already jumped to $109. Literally within 10 minutes of my first seeing the $89. But $109 is still a lot better than $158. I don't think I will get a better DING than what I have, but who knows.

P.S. And I'm under 100 days until my trip. Yippee!!!!!

I want to fly from SFO (San Francisco) to MCO (Orlando). Southwest doesn't fly that route. Any alternative flight routes or air carriers that you might suggest?

I've been watching my flights on spiritair, and they were up to 500 a piece, now down to about 300. I'm not buying til they are atleast 150 a piece. But it's nice to see things diminish!

I just went to southwest.com and routed SFO to MCO with no problem. Rates as low as $179 (one way). Flights either have one stop or a change of planes in Phoenix, Denver, Las Vegas or San Francisco.

I fly Southwest almost every month and just love them but I try to warn people that Southwest isn't always the best price depending on the departure or arrival cities.

Darn my fam. of four! Such low dings..... I could fly out of my local for $89 and back into Chicago for $109. But since there's four of us... yea, no, still drivin'!
