We went to TL last Wed, during FAY. We got to the gate about 5 minutes before park opening. There were about 35-40 other people. We stayed until mid-afternoon and had a wonderful time. It drisled off/on all day. The park was so empty, you could do anything. A bored photopass photagrapher took my dd all around and took a ton of beautiful photo's.

We stopped for a snack and Stitch was there. He came around to the small handfull of people playing with the kids, etc.

As there were so few people, I saw some lifeguards assigned to what I think is the grossest job ever, digging gum out of the cracks of the sidewalks. :eek:

We had a great day.

I used to be one of those bored lifeguards after a rain closing watching 6 people in the wave pool. If you don't mind slight rain, or waiting until after it ends, you'll basically have the park to yourself.

Lifeguarding at Disney is far from just getting a tan. Picking up cigarette butts out the wet sand after the park closes is definitely up there. :sad2: I won't even mention the AFR's we had to fish out. :eek:
