There are people on the community board complaining about the cost of a marriage license. Well there is more to it than just that but I think it is so funny. To be able to complain about what it cost while so many millions are denied the right to even think about getting married!

I kinda feel bad, becasue I am having a mean day (you know the type of day when you just can't be nice to those that annoy you ?), so I feel kind of bad getting big chuckles out of it!

note: I only said kinda bad.......:laughing:

:rolleyes1 How much would you be willing to pay to LEGALLY marry your partner? I'd pay a whole bunch!

Me too!!! And they are crying over an increase of $12! It is either pay up or take marriage classes!

Honestly. "Sanctity of marriage" my as. Ykwim.

When you want something, love something, so badly you're willing to risk censure and public rejection for it -- you're deserving of being married.

In order for us to have something similar to the legal protections provided by that one simple piece of paper and a couple of "I do's" in front of a judge or preacher, I would have to spend thousands of dollars in legal fees. I don't see $12 as a reason to get your undies in a bunch.

People don't count their blessings. Hmm an extra 12 dollars to marry the person you love? ....I'm sorry, what's the issue here?
