This will be our first time at CBR - heck it will be our first time at any moderate! We'll be there Feb. 10-17 for dds' competitition at Twirlmania. My in-laws are coming too so we can put one of the kids in their room. Usually we can't go to CBR because we're a family of 5.

My kids are excited to try the new pool. I agree with another poster - it's like Poly lite! We visited CBR once and really liked the tropical, relaxed feel. Just hope we get to try the pool if February!

My first visit to CBR....ladies only trip for Food and Wine! Have changed resorts just a few times...lol....but back at CBR! Thinking my DD11 will enjoy this for her bday trip next March!

Now seeing the new picutres it looks as though with the gate around the pool, they will lock it at 10pm (closing hour stated in another thread). The one thing we love to do is come back to the resort after the parks and hit the hot tub. If we will not be able to do so it will be a little upsetting. That's what we love about CSR, the hot tub is open until 2am. We'll see if this is something that may keep us away in the future.

The one thing I am thinking though...that little tot area with the pirate ship....I can see little ones taking off and wanting to play there..speculation..lol..so maybe that is why there is a gate/fence around?
I have seen photos of that hot tub at CSR...lol...its like a pool!

Got SW Boarding Pass # A-20 which surprised me because we are the second leg on a flight originating in Sacramento.
Weather forecast is for 50-60% chance of rain for the first 4 days and then little chance of rain. We won't let the rain stop us but I am hoping that it doesn't rain on Tues 23rd during MNSSHP. It will be our first time going to MNSSHP.
I have been to WDW 5 times since YOAMD started and not once have I gotten a dream so that would be nice this time.

Hey everyone, 5 more days till our WDW Vacay!!! I just have a question that hopefully one of you can answer. I read on another post someone who stayed at POR had their kids bring their scooters to the resort. She said they were never bothered by anyone. Do you know if CBR is against this b/c I would love to bring my sons scooter.

We are annual pass holders at Disneyland and have worked to ensure that 10% of my DD's life has been inside the Disneyland park. I am looking forward to being able to compare the MK to Disneyland and see how out of place things will feel to us. 7 nights at the CBR in a preferred room. "I can't sleep...I'm too excited!"

8 days and we'll be leaving for Disney!!! Staying at Pop the first night and then checking in for a week at CBR on 12/3!!! I'm so excited!!!

We haven't stayed at CBR since December 2000 which was our first family trip to the world. So of course we have fond memories of that trip. My boys were 4 & 5 at the time and now they are 12 & 13. I can't believe that much time has gone by!:eek:

I just booked our pirate rooms for 28 May to 5 June!! My 7 yr old DS does not know about the pirate room and I can't wait to see his face!!! We are retired Army so we HAD to go, 40% off room and great park ticket deal. I think the faires have sprinkled pixie dust on us!! pixiedust: When I called to book my ressie, I almost cried when I heard them answer the phone. I think I am more excited than anyone else in the family.
