My favorite Karen moment to date is when Grace was babysitting Rob and Ellen's kids and Karen walked in with two boxes of wine claiming that they were "juice boxes for the kiddies." And later in that episode she called both of her step children "young ladies" despite Mason being a boy... Karen, what would I do without you? Oh, and your "pharmacist" of course... :thumbsup2

We left today to come home on a 3:00 PM flight.

Since we missed a similar parade honoring the 2004 Olympians, I asked the concierge at Beach Club about five times this week if there were any plans for honoring any of the 2008 Olympians and was repeatedly told no.

I am bummed.

No, you are not the only one. First of all, I am not a fan of the Olympics (as Craig Ferguson said, "If I wanted to see people run around with streamers, I would go to a parade!") and I am definitely not a fan of competitive swimming. IMO, Michael Phelps is overrated and 75% of his fans like him because they think he is cute.

lol...college life...but I think I'm jaded from going to one of the biggest party schools in the northeast...that stuff is like a weekly occurence... :rotfl:

saw him swim live in Athens in 2004 and have to say he was pretty darn amazing. I can only imagine what it was like to be there in Beijing! (and no...I'm not saying it b/c I think he's cute... lol...cause I think he's just normal looking)
