room requests?

hi, i am leaving for portofino bay sept. 7. i have a deluxe club & am confirmed gold member so will try for a suite. balcony is most important to us so i want to request room with balcony. how do i do it and when should i do it. any information is helpful. thanks

Good luck. Less than 10% of the rooms have balconies. A couple of the VillA Suites have balconies but I haven't stayed in a Portofino Suite that had balcony. A patio but not a balcony.

would i have a better chance at getting a balcony by just requesting a room like 2663, 3531, 3557 or any of the other ones and not even asking for an upgrade if i get one of those rooms. and what are the odds of getting one of those rooms the week starting Sept. 7th. can you recommend any other rooms with covered balcony. you are the queen of the boards and i appreciate
any help.
