My dream was a Disney wedding. After all, I just got engaged in between the GF and Poly (by the WP!) in May. My wedding is next May at my old hometown. FH always wanted the big church wedding with all our friends & family. He's an only child, so his mom wanted that hoopla too. Ditto with my mom. My daddy and I were the only ones that wanted the Disney intimate wedding, cheaper and more disney... Now I'm paying 83 a plate and FH is all worked up about chair covers (i tease him and call him my bride).
We're honeymooning in Disney... On our disneymoon, I really would like to bring my dress and bring his Dress Blues and do bridal pictures there.
Thoughts? Can I have disney photographers do this even though I won't be having a Disney destination wedding?

I don't mean to disappoint you but this would not be possible without having a Disney wedding...at least not in your wedding clothes. Even Disney brides can only do the park pictures in wedding attire before the parks open (usually around 5am or 6am).
You can contact Disney Photography to do Honeymoon portrait sessions in several locations (parks and/or resorts) but you would not be able to wear your wedding attire.
You might be able to do something at the resorts, but I'm not sure if it would be worth it to bring the dress and dress blues down there for that.

I'm so sorry...
Is there anyway you can do an intimate vow renewal for your first anniversary or something? If you do that, you can have your pictures...not quite the same, I know...but it is an option.

I just crawled into bed with FH to wake him and whine. We're buying DVC on our honeymoon so he said we'll do a renewal for either our 1st or 5th so I can have my dream wedding. :lovestruc I just am bummed that I can't do it this time... If I'm willing to dish out 1500 bucks for pictures, I'm surprised that they wouldnt' make exceptions!

This is so OT and I'm sorry but I had to say it because while I wasn't paying attention to your screen name, I did catch a glimpse of your signature and I wanted to say... GO NEWSIES! :lmao: God I love that movie.
Back to more important things. :goodvibes

Hahaha hopping on the OT train, Newsies is my alltime favorite movie. I'm sure I've watched it at least 100 times!

I wish I could include Newsies in my wedding planning somehow.
Does that veer it anymore on topic?

Your first dance could be to 'Seize the Day'! :rotfl: Or you could name all your tables after Newsies. (I'd want to be at the Spot Conlon table personally.) :lovestruc
