"Thanks for "Popping In "

Thought I'd share some popcorn wrappers I've been making.

One week of this and I think I may be liking this tooooooo much.
The wrappers fit around a standard size package of popcorn .
I printed mine off on 'Best" fit to page.

So pull up a seat and enjoy the movie.

These are great! No only could you use them for popcorn, you can seal the edges and use them for envelopes or for other thin candies! Great idea!

I just PM'ed you with a request! lol sorry, i couldn't resist!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was hoping you can do one for my sons bday? teylnn did the wrappers and mints for me and these would go perfect for my party favors, as thats what i am handing out to everyone, a popcorn baggie with all movie candy inside along with a mini bag of microwavable popcorn.........:worship: :worship:

What a wonderful idea. LOVE IT. My daughters school can only have things store bought or individually wrapped. These would be perfect and the kids will love them. I hope you are doing more of them. Halloween, Thanksgiving,
Christmas, Valentines Day, and lets not forget those Birthday's. And how about special movie night gift baskets or teacher gifts. OK I'm getting carried away. This is just such a wonderful IDEA. Keep those designs coming.

Okay, I cant' figure out how to "tweak" this for the party so would you mind helping me out? Could you remove the cat from the photo, remove the name Bambi, and remove Walt Disney World? Yes they are a cover that goes around a pkg of microwave popcorn.

Alot of people have asked for the small individual size wrapper so I'm trying to figure out how to resize my design to do that.
Uses would be as party favors --treat for gift bags or packages that moms make for their trips to Disney,Teacher appreciation gift etc. Hope that helps

Hello ,,I'll try to explain

You fold the cover almost like you would to create a match book ,,
the circle is is where the sucker stick pokes through,,once folded I just cut a small triangle in the area where the circle is .The stick part hangs out of the bottom of the cover. Hope this helps,,an actual photo would probably be better.

These are absolutely fabulous! I am always amazed at the wonder talent on this board! Could you do any cruise Mickey or Pirate Mickey sucker covers? They would be great for goodie bags for our Thanksgiving cruise.

They fit a small penny candy sucker --I bought a large bag of suckers for Halloween and plan on having the kids in my class make them and deliver them as "secret Halloween friends treats" to other kids in the school.:teacher:

I love the Thanksgiving popcorn cover! Great job! What paper would I print these on. I am so new to this and would really like to do these properly so that your design will be best displayed.

I want to use the Halloween lollipop covers but what paper do I print these out on? Also I am really not understanding how these get put together. You said like a match book with the stick going through the hole. Does anyone have a picture of this that they can post for a visual?

Good day all
I just printed off the Thanksgiving popcorn wrapper one for my own family,(Canadian Thanksgiving is next Monday ). I used a laser printer at work and I must say the quality was lovely,,however I usually just print off my home computer which is an ink jet printer. I print them off on "Best Fit to page " and yes the image (wrapper) is almost the size of a 8.5x 11 regular size piece of photo-copying paper.

Now the sucker wrapper ,,I've made a ton of these,,,you just print off and cut and fold . I just cut a small triangle where the circle is (two quick snips)so that the stick of the sucker slides through.

I will attempt to have someone take some photos next week at our celebration as I know alot of people are visual learners.
Hope this has helped and an early "Happy Thanksgiving " to all.

I know me too! I think I want to use some for my both my kids birthdays! The only reason why I don't think I will though is because, like I said, I want them for wedding favors and I wouldn't want to spoil it before my wedding! I have never seen anything like this before and its better than the same old almonds-in-a-box favor!

I made the sucker covers for my daughter's election and they cam out super cute. She hasn't taken them to school yet. I can't wait to hear what the other kids say about them. I know they're gonna love them. I do have one more request, if you don't mind. My son is having a Halloween party at TaeKwonDo class and wanted to take these in. not dense at all,,,I'm new to computers also so --when I print off a popcorn wrapper it say on my screen original size --best fit to page ---custom size etc ,,
the wrappers are almost the full size of a regular sheet of paper 8.5x 11,so the wrapper should print off just alittle bit smaller than that,
I choose best fit to page ,,hope this helps

I am trying to print out the sucker covers - how do you get more than 1 to a page, without it shrinking. My print wizard says 'cropped to fit' and then makes them too small. The options it gives me are: full page, 8 x 10, 5x7, 4x6, 3x5, wallet, contact sheet. I tried 4x6 and wallet and they're both too small.

I used the one of Pluto's head in a wreath, and it cut off "Merry Christmas".

Help! LOL Thanks!

You should print them out at the size of 13cm x 18 cm. If Windows picture or the application you are using does not have that option try Irfanview or another application.

I have put 4 of them together on this template, hope this helps.

I am getting married and would like popcorn wrappers in a "When You Wish Upon a Star" theme for our welcome bags. I saw you had Jiminy Cricket/Pinocchio clip art you used on your candy pockets - could you make a popcorn wrapper too?

P.S. Is there a difference between the images that show up? In some posts they are small, in some they are medium sized, and in some (like the one just before my post) are really big. When they print out, do they all print out the same size?

No I just don't know how to post stuff very well,,my son says I should be posting all thumbnails so that the picture isn't big,,which means you click on the image and go to image shack and then you see the correct size,,The size fits around a regular size microwave bag of popcorn.
Can you tell me what colors you are using for your wedding?
The truth be known I fear wedding designs the most,,lol,lol,,but I will try for yah.

If you left click, you get taken to Image Shack. Then I click what? Do I right click the image *then* and pick "save as"??? I have never heard of Image Shack before today.

Do not fear wedding designs, LOL! If you are able to change the color on the popcorn wrapper - our wedding colors are purple, silver and white. If you have room to put "your dreams come true" after "When You Wish Upon A Star", it will be perfect! Can Jiminy be his usual green? See, I am easy, LOL. Thanks for all your help!

To answer my own question - YES! When you are reading this thread and looking at the images, left click and go to Image Shack. After the image loads on that page, right click it and choose "save as . . . " and save it to your computer, then click print. PERFECT!

Ok The Cricket I was using is actually a blank one ,,the thing about doing popcorn wrappers is the image must be clear and big enough when printed,,see I'm learning,,alot of my first attempts were very blurry images,,,anyhow
I have found only one fairly nice sized image that is colored,,here's my second attempt,,
we have the purple and white but grey on my computer color scheme and my limited abilities made the wrapper look grey not silver,, so I tried a very purple /silver color.I added the words you wanted ,I'm off on Holidays to Disney this Thursday so if you'd like some changes I'll be back after Dec 27th,,
