We've not been on our 2008 trip yet (counting down the days to 30th Oct :) ) but I was looking online for prices for next year. Wasn't thinking of booking, just getting an idea on prices. When I saw this I couldn't say no! I've booked:
14 nights at Old Key West 2 bed villa 15th Sept, direct with disney. Saved 44% on room rate, got 14 day disney ticket for price of 7 and free disney dining plan. For 4 adults this came to £3084.
I've booked flights with Thomas Cook for £562 each, and paid £10 (yes TEN POUNDS!!!) each to upgrade to premium economy!
I'll wait until next year to book car hire, and just not collect the car with Thomas Cook (cheaper that way) and maybe get some tickets for Universal.
I was only looking for costings, but I couldn't turn that down!!! :yay:

I did exactly the same thing....we go in December this year but I was looking the other day out of curiousity as DH had already said we aren't going to WDW next year :sad2: but we ended up booking 18 nights at OKW from 31st August in a Studio room with free dining & 14 day park tickets for 2 x adults for £1850!!
Where are your flights departing from, Gatwick?

It's always great to have another trip to look forward to!
Thomas Cook are coming up with some good prices for us for next year -have you flown long-haul with them since they introduced their increased leg-room in economy? I'm interested in any feedback :)

Congrat's :cool1: .
I am waiting for Christmas to have a nose at April 2011 with Virgin to see what they can offer me.I may also have a trip booked before next years one as well(i hope so  ).Hopefully come October/November the school Easter holiday dates will be released for 2011 as well, without them i can't do nothing.x.(also i would only book if funds were available as we don't have credit cards-cash all the way for us-and i do have enough for a deposit-as 2009 holiday is already paid for so yippeeeee).

This may sound stupid, but have you definitely booked for October 09, or are you still looking?

Reading this thread I went to the TC link above to check prices for dates next year ;) I checked for October 2009, and got what seemed like really good prices :thumbsup2 .
So DH and I had a chat about it tonight and I went back to look at some different dates as well as Oct 09, but now all the 09 dates I put in (from April to October 09) are coming back with nothing available (for Cardiff flights). Well, clearly they haven't sold out of everything for next year since last night, so there must be something wrong somewhere!
However, when I thought about what I'd seen last night, I'm sure that it was showing me Oct 08 dates, even though I was definitely searching for 09. Now I think about it, I don't think the date / day of the week matched for next year, and the price is the same as it now gives me for those dates in Oct 08 :confused3 .
So my question is - has anyone completed a booking with TC for October 09?

From what i have been told, the only company that will be traveling from Cardiff next year is TCD and only on selected dates :thumbsup2
