Hi,

I am new here & new to the whole code thing. If I book with AAA and a code or PIN becomes available...can I use that to get a discount? We are planning to go to Pop Century, 2 adults, 1 child that is 2, regular dining, 3/9-3/15/2009, 6 day hopper, no water park. We got a quote of $1942.46.

Can anyone give any suggestions or hints or anything? The prices I got from Disney & from small world vacations was $2033.34.

Thanks!
Donna

If you book a pkg thru AAA and a better pincode becomes available, they can switch it to the better deal. You will lose the AAA discount though, since disney does not allow the stacking of discounts.

Note that if any changes you made within 45 days of arrival that results in a credit, will incur a $50 charge...

 Here is my story with AAA. I booked my trip through AAA back in March and fully paid for my trip August 10th. A few weeks later they offered the fall discount, so my AAA agent called and they are putting $300 on a credit at the resort (that will more than cover our tips for dining plan), then today I received a pin for free dining during the week we'll be there. Much to my AAA agents surprise I am getting a refund of $967.00 next week. So, I don't think it hurt to use AAA, if you have a good travel agent. I am on cloud nine today!

We booked with AAA a week ago and our agent said she will apply whatever codes she can to our trip. Anything she or we find should work so know I am on the lookout for February codes.

I found that even though my aaa agent is considered a disney experty, I still had to find the discounts though. I called her when disney offered the fall special a few weeks ago. She didn't think it would make a difference and didn't pursue it immediatly, so when she was off I had the other TA check for me. When I called her with my pin # yesterday she was very surprised, because she'd never seen a number that long. She didn't hesitate to call this time though. So, just remember to be persistent when you find a discount. And thank goodness for the disboards, because when I questioned the discount, the boards encouraged me to pursue it. I told my hubby that it saved him $1200 by me playing around on these boards all them time!:rotfl:
