For those of you that served chicken for your meal, what kind did you have and was it good?

For our tasting a few weeks ago, we had the Parmesan Crusted Chicken. My Df and Mom really loved it. I thought it was pretty good for wedding food. I really really liked the potatoes that were with it.

I had Chicken Cordon Bleu. It was pretty good, but will admit that I have had better.

I'm the only person I know who didn't think the Parmesan-Crusted chicken was that great - most people love it! The Tomato Cream Sauce helped...
Here it is, next to the BoardWalk's "filet" of beef...

We had a tasting with that - it was wonderful!! If we'd kept our Wishes wedding, we would have had that on our menu!

the breading has the parmesan in it and is crispier than a normal chicken parmigan.

It isn't really like Chicken parm but I guess they could put the sauce and cheese on it if you wanted. I tasted ours with a mushroom cream sauce and it was delicious!

We're also having the Parmesan Crusted Chicken. We tried it with three different sauces. Mushroom cream sauce, marinara, & a limoncello beurre blanc sauce that they whipped up for us on the spur of the moment in the kitchen at our menu tasting. The limoncello sauce is fantastic!
Since our buffet also includes tortellini with alfredo sauce and penne with marinara, we opted to have the limoncello sauce on the side. That way we've got a cream sauce, a tomato sauce, and something more unique on the buffet. If we weren't already having the other sauces on the pasta dishes, it would have been very difficult to decide, because all of them were delicious.
Honestly, though. I thought the chicken tasted very good without the sauce. It was flavorful and moist, despite the fact that it was in the "hot box" when we got there. I was apprehensive about it when I saw them pull it out of there to plate it. But it was awesome.
