Ive seen that a couple of brides have had their wedding meals in one of the Epcot places and i'm sure its near the nemo ride (or am I wrong???) Can anyone tell me more?
Does it have to be a wishes package or is this a resturant where I could hold my escape wedding meal?

I believe the Living Seas Salon is a place that they use for conferences and weddings only so i'm not sure that you can use it for an escape but perhaps you could try the Coral Reef restaurant? It's very nice and I believe they can do a custom menu too.. but i'm not positive.

I had my Wishes reception in the Living Seas and I believe she's right that it is only for rentals of larger parties (because you have to meet certain minimums.) The Coral Reef Restaurant is directly below this room and would be a great place to hold your wedding meal :thumbsup2 I've seen other people have custom menus for other celebrations such as anniversaries and birthdays, so I'm sure they would do one for your wedding too.

I'm sure it is the living seas you are referring to and the minimum for a reception is 30 maxed out at 84! We are having our reception there.

HAHA when I first read your title I was like...I didn't know they hold receptions on the Seven seas lagoon lol.
You could have your dinner in the Coral Reef after the wedding...only thing is you can't wear your wedding dress so if you want to stay in your dress you have to choose one of the resorts restaurants.

I forget what website it's on (magicalkingdoms maybe? :confused3 ) but it mentions having an Escape wedding with the 18 guests and then having a big reception in order to not have to meet the 10,000 min of a Wishes wedding.
So... could you just rent the LSS for your reception (as long as you had at least 30 guests for that portion of the day)? I know there would be a site rental, but I wonder if the $75 per person f&b mins would apply.

It's Mouse Weddings.com.
Unfortunately, this plan only works with non-Disney reception venues. DFTW will not allow an Escape couple to book LSS for a reception - they will tell them to switch to a Wishes wedding. The exception *might* be dessert parties, but in the past they wouldn't let you have more people at your dessert party than came to your wedding.
You could book a non-Disney venue like Fulton's or bluezoo if you wanted to do this, though. ;)
