? for those who bought DVC while at WDW

DH & I have put down a deposit and have started the paperwork. We will be at WDW 5/4-5/8. We have an appointment to tour DVC. (DH wants to before signing on the dotted line.) After touring we plan on finishing up all the paperwork. How long will all this take? I'm trying to plan our itinery and would like to know how much time to set aside. Thanks

Enjoy the tour! It is very informative- even if you've already done your research!

It will take at least 45 minutes to take the tour and more time if you think of some questions or just want to enjoy the surroundings. There are refreshments, an entertaining movie and then the time you'll spend touring the models.

We did start to finish (NY'rs) while we were there in Mar. I think it took us a tad longer than 45 min but not much. If you are using direct withdrawal, dont forget your cancelled check! It will save some paper work later. And if you are buying more than 150 pts, make sure you get your bag!

We didn't really take the official tour, we just looked at the setup at the Boardwalk office, but the actual process of signing all the papers took about 30-45 minutes, if I remember correctly.

Way back when we bought at WDW, I remember Disney did not let us sign any papers unless we fully understood what we were signing!
